Right of Withdrawal, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

1. Right of Withdrawal (Return)

Under Legislative Decree 206/2005 - Consumer Code, customers who purchase as consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 working days from receipt of the products, without penalty and without the obligation to provide a reason.

Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal

  • Products must be intact, unused, unworn, and undamaged.
  • They must be returned in the original packaging.
  • Returns of opened, worn, or items without original packaging will not be accepted.
  • Items with the smell of smoke, perfume, lotions, or detergents will not be accepted.
  • Items must be sent in sturdy and resistant packaging. Otherwise, a 15% reconditioning fee may be applied.
  • Upon receipt of the return, GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l. will verify the integrity of the products and may accept or refuse the refund if the above conditions are not met.

We are not responsible for loss, address errors, or delays in the delivery of returns.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalized or custom-made products.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must communicate their intention within the time limits established by law.

The customer can choose one of the following return methods:

  • Pickup organized by GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l.: we will arrange the pickup through our courier (the courier will apply the return label at the time of pickup at the indicated address). In this case, a €2.90 fee will be deducted from the refund amount for orders delivered in Italy.
  • Self-shipping: the customer can return the product using a courier of their choice and at their own expense. In this case, no deduction will be applied by GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l.

Orders shipped outside Italy

For orders shipped outside Italian territory, the cost of the return or product/size exchange service is €6.90.

  • In case of return with refund and pickup organized by GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l., a €6.90 fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  • In case of size or product exchange, a €6.90 fee will be charged to cover the logistics costs of pickup and new shipment.
  • The customer can still arrange the return shipment independently using a courier of their choice and at their own expense.

Returns or size exchanges are not allowed for products in the “Gocce Calze” line for hygiene reasons.

2. Refund

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from receipt and verification of the returned products.
  • The purchase price of the product will be refunded, excluding shipping costs and any cash on delivery fees.
  • In case of partial return, initial shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • For returns with pickup organized by GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l., a fixed fee of €2.90 will be deducted from the refund amount for orders delivered in Italy.
  • For orders shipped outside Italy, the deducted fee will be €6.90.
  • If the customer chooses to ship the return independently via a courier of their choice, no deduction will be made from the refund; shipping costs will be entirely borne by the customer.
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase:
    • Credit card / PayPal: direct reversal of the transaction.
    • Cash on delivery / Bank transfer: refund via bank transfer (IBAN and account holder details must be provided).
  • Non-compliant or fraudulent refund requests will not be accepted.

3. Exchange

Products returned in original condition can be exchanged for items of equal or greater value within 14 working days.

  • Worn or damaged items will not be accepted.
  • Requests for size, color, or model exchanges are accepted if they meet the return conditions.
  • The first size or product exchange is always free for orders delivered in Italy.
  • GELATERIA ITALIANA S.r.l. will organize the pickup of the product and shipment of the new item at no cost to the customer.
  • For orders shipped outside Italy, the cost of size or product exchange is €6.90.
  • Any subsequent exchange requests will be at the customer's expense.
